Eulexin is an oral capsule made up of antiandrogens called flutamide. This medication is available as a generic alternative in 250mg!
Eulexin is prescribed to males who suffer from prostate cancer to help slow down the growth and further spreading. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men, usually with little symptoms in the early stages. Prostate cancer is located in a small walnut-shaped gland that produces seminal fluid (which nourishes and transports sperm). Prostate cancer that is only in the prostate gland is easier to treat than prostate cancer that has spread outside the prostate gland.
Eulexin (Flutamide) works by blocking the effects of testosterone (a natural male hormone) which is essential in the growth and spreading of prostate cancer.
