Description

Zyclara Cream is a medication made up of an immune response modifier called imiquimod. We carry the brand choice of this medication in 3.75%.

This medication is used on the skin, for conditions such as genital or anal warts and actinic keratoses (AK). Actinic keratoses is caused by excess sun exposure and causes a precancerous growth on the skin. If this condition goes untreated, the complications include actinic cheilitis, basal cell carcinoma, melanoma and rare forms of skin cancer (like Merkel cell carcinoma).

Zyclara Cream (Imiquimod) is effective at treating certain skin conditions because it is able to increase the effect of the immune system; the body’s defense mechanism against disease and infection).

Use this medication only the way your doctor has prescribed it to you. Follow all directions very carefully; they can usually be found on your prescription label if you forget. Do not use this medication for longer than recommended. Keep out of your mouth, eyes, and nose. Do not put this medication inside of your vagina or anus, or on sunburned or healthy skin.

Use this medication at bedtime. Ensure you are washing your hands before and after each use. Clean the affected area before applying the medication. Apply a thin layer and gently rub it in. After applying, do not shower, swim, or bathe.
